Are these homes truly built for Navajo families?Yes. Hooghan Zhóní homes are made on Navajo land, by Navajo hands, and for Navajo people. Every home is crafted with your family, your future, and your land in mind.
-
How long will these homes last? Are they safe for my family? Our homes are built with steel frames - they’re fire-resistant, termite-proof, and made to withstand harsh weather. These aren’t temporary structures - they’re homes that last generations.
-
Can I place one of these homes on my family’s land?Yes. If you have a homesite lease or proper land permissions on the Navajo Nation, we can help place a home there. Our team can guide you through the process if you’re not sure where to start.
-
Are these homes HUD or IRC certified? All Hooghan Zhóní homes are IRC-certified - meaning they’re built to the same code as traditional site-built homes and meet high standards of quality and safety.
-
How much do these homes cost, and is financing available?Pricing depends on the model and setup, but we work hard to keep homes affordable for Navajo families. We’re actively partnering with local housing authorities and programs to help make financing possible.
-
How long does it take to get my home after I order it?Because we build right here on Navajo land, we’re able to deliver homes much faster than traditional construction - often within weeks, depending on your site readiness.
-
Will my home be able to handle Navajo weather and winters?Yes. These steel-framed homes are designed to stand up to high winds, snow, and extreme temperatures. You’ll be safe and warm in every season.
-
Are these homes really built by Navajo workers?Yes - and we’re proud of that. The majority of our workforce is Navajo. Your home is made by the hands of people who share your land, your language, and your values.
-
Can I customize the layout of my home?To ensure affordability and speed, we offer fixed layouts for Navajo Nation homes. However, we do offer flexibility in finishings like flooring, cabinetry, and color choices - so you can still make it feel like yours.
-
Will this home respect our way of life?We build with respect at the core. Our homes are strong, simple, and built to support your family’s needs - with space to gather, grow, and carry forward tradition.
-
What if something goes wrong with my home after delivery?Your home includes a warranty, and our team is right here on Navajo land to support you. If something’s not right, we’ll make it right.
-
Why should I Trust Hooghan Zhóní?Because we’re not just building homes - we’re building opportunities and Trust. We employ Navajo workers, we manufacture locally, and we build with heart, integrity, and pride in where we come from.
